About
Zach Morrow is an Ohio-based borosilicate glass artist specializing in handcrafted functional work, sculptural glass, memorial artwork, and live flameworking demonstrations.
Working primarily with borosilicate glass and torch-based techniques, his work explores the balance between heat, movement, chemistry, and form. Influenced by both industrial process and organic flow, each piece is individually created through direct flame manipulation in the studio environment.
In addition to custom commissions and collector work, Zach regularly performs live demonstrations at festivals and creative events, offering audiences a firsthand look into the process behind contemporary flame-worked glass art.
His work ranges from wearable and functional pieces to collaborative showcase builds and deeply personal memorial keepsakes intended to become lasting heirlooms.
Process & Philosophy
Glassblowing is a balance of control and unpredictability.
Every piece is shaped through heat, timing, gravity, airflow, and constant adjustment at the torch. No two works are exactly alike, and subtle variation is part of the handmade process.
Whether creating a small wearable piece or a larger sculptural project, the goal is always to produce work that feels intentional, durable, and alive with movement.
